Alpha Lambda Phi Alpha was the first sorority on Occidental College’s campus.

Founded in 1900, we were originally a literature club for women. Since 1900, we have fostered community for the success and growth of our members.

The active chapter members can be found scattered throughout student life on campus. Many of us are on sports teams, club teams, various affiliation clubs, and so much more! Actives are campus tour guides, student researchers, and postal workers.

Our active members graduate and many join the Alumnae Association, where they continue to thrive in community. Our alumnae are involved in all different walks of life: educators, attorneys, marketing specialists, and so much more!
